MLB Trade Rumors: Philadelphia Phillies' Bryce Harper drops contract and want World Series
Six years have passed since Bryce Harper signed the largest contract in Major League Baseball history with the Philadelphia Phillies. Harper is still committed to the same objectives he had at the start of his MLB career, even as he begins his 15th spring training.
Harper wants to hit 500 home runs in his career. His current position is 336. "You must maintain your health. You must remain resilient. "I feel like you have to be on winning teams, too," Harper stated, as reported by The Athletic. Of course, you don't need that. However, I believe that being a part of an organization with a following that encourages you daily really makes you want to be even better.
Harper is more focused on returning to Philadelphia with a World Series Championship than he is on hitting his home run target.
Harper remarked, "While individual statistics are impressive, there's one thing, man... that World Series." That is what you wish to accomplish. If you're winning and remaining healthy, all those things will take care of themselves. I'm not really concerned about it.
Harper and company could get some assistance from the Phillies to do that. This season, they are committed to contending for a championship.
Ranger Suarez, a member of the Philadelphia Phillies, wishes to retire.
The star Ranger Suarez, the starting pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies, will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the 2025 season. But he thinks his stay in Philadelphia is not over yet.
This is the group and organization I was a part of as a child. Since I was very young, I have performed here. My only thought is to remain here. For the remainder of my career, I want to pitch here," Suarez stated.
This season, the Phillies have a club that can win everything, and they want to play to their best.
